Luca Curtarelli
Country Manager, alibaba.com Italia Spagna e Portogallo

Luca joined Alibaba Group in 2019, with the aim of supporting the digitization of Italian SMEs through the largest B2B e-commerce platform in the world, Alibaba.com. He held the position of Head of Business Development until September 2021, when he was appointed Country Manager for Italy, Spain and Portugal. Throughout the last two years he contributed to the digitization of SMEs across different sectors, to the creation of a virtual pavilion dedicated to Made in Italy and to the promotion of Italian export, presenting Italian companies with the opportunity for growth offered by an omnichannel approach. 

He started his career at Google Italy and Ireland, holding several positions over a 8-year period, from Business Development Manager for Italian market from the EMEA HQ in Dublin, to Sales & Operations Leader for Italy, Greece, Turkey, the Middle East and North Africa, up to his contribution to the launch of Waze in Italy as Sales & Partnership Manager. 

He holds a Master's Degree in International Management from Bocconi University and a Post Graduate Program from the Indian Institute of Management (Ahmedabad, India). 

Luca is an Italian Athletics champion and proud father of Riccardo and Mattia.
