Lorenza Luti, born in Milan in 1978, obtained a degree in Economics from Bocconi University with a focus on marketing and strategic management after completing her classic high school education. After a short stint at Ermenegildo Zegna, a well-known fashion company, she joined her family's business. At Kartell, she spent three years gaining valuable retail experience in both Milan and Paris before being appointed as Marketing&Retail Director in 2005. In line with the company's aggressive expansion strategy, her goal is to enhance Kartell's global brand awareness and communicate its philosophy.
Lorenza collaborates closely with her father, Claudio Luti, who serves as the president of Kartell, in managing relationships with designers, product development, and actively contributing to overall strategic planning.
She has been immersed in the world of Kartell since childhood, as the company was founded by her grandfather, Giulio Castelli, a chemical engineer, and her architect grandmother, Anna Castelli Ferrieri. Alongside her brother Federico, who holds the position of commercial director, Lorenza also plays a role in shaping the retail strategy.
Additionally, she oversees all communication strategies, co-branding activities, special projects, events, and is responsible for the Kartell Museum, which received the Guggenheim Award as one of the top Industrial Museums worldwide. Lorenza Luti is also a member of the "Italian Industrial Museums" Committee.
