Main activities performed include: management of privatisations; monitoring and oversight State-owned companies, including management of State-owned stakes in these companies; conversion of public-law organisations into joint stock companies; relationship with the international financial community with regard to listed companies controlled by the State and to structured-finance transactions designed by the Republic of Italy; Negotiation with the European Commission of key issues related to companies controlled by the State; Member of Inter-Governmental Committees responsible for coordinating construction of key European infrastructure and structuring the associated financing.
