Curiosity and passion are the two most distinguishing traits of his personality. Music, graphic art and flea markets help him steer his passion to exciting new heights.

A multifaceted creative mind with a passion for everything responsible and conscious, Andrea is a descendant of Diesel, instinctively drawn to fashion. He studied pattern cutting in Italy, and while studying English in California he discovered a love for non-conformist forms of expression such as graphics and art, and a passion for all things vintage. From there, he went to New York to study Textile Development and Marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and began conceiving his role inside the family business.

Andrea is the Creative Director of Diesel Living. Launched in 2008 as an assortment of home textiles, Diesel Living extends the brand’s lifestyle and attitude to a now vast world of design, partnering with interior design giants like Moroso, Scavolini or Seletti, among many others.

In 2014 Andrea launched his fashion project marrying all his passions: MYAR, a genderless collection of used military originals that Andrea procures personally in vintage markets, visiting old depots, hunting for functional details, fabrics and accessories no longer in production. Embracing the upcycling philosophy, each garment is sartorially refashioned, acquiring a contemporary fit which brings the history of the past into the present, looking into its future use.

In 2020 Andrea took on a global role as Diesel Sustainability Ambassador, bringing forward the goals and vision of the brand’s “For Responsible Living” sustainability strategy, a commitment to taking actions for the benefit of the current and future generations.
