Alessandro Zamboni

Born in Turin on 20/09/1978.


He graduated, with honors, from the University of Turin - Faculty of Business Administration - specialization course Strategies of Business and Strategic Marketing with Professor Giorgio Pellicelli.

Director specialized in the Financial and Insurance Industry, with an important knowledge of the strategic, digital and regulatory models of this Industry.


After a short period of work in L'Oréal in the strategic and operational marketing function, he joined the management consulting company NIKE Group SpA (a part of Accenture), specialized in Regulatory & Internal Controls for Banks and Insurance Firms.

In the Company, he holds the following top positions:

Sales Director, with a client portfolio of around 10M euros;

Member of the Board of Directors;

Managing Director of the entire organizational structure (about 100 FTE). 

Specifically, as the person in charge of Delivery, he has overseen relevant projects for the Financial Industry, in particular:

design/ updating of the corporate governance models pursuant to EBA and Bank of Italy regulations (more of 25 projects);

regulatory assessment regarding market abuse directive and conflict of interest regulation (more of 50 projects);

enhancement of the Internal Control System (compliance, internal auditing, AML, …) in relation to the EBA/ Bank of Italy provisions (more of 100 projects);

set up of ICT & cloud strategy and business continuity policy;

design of innovative system for financial reporting risk management;

development of risk management models (in relation both to the "Basel" framework and to Solvency II).


He has designed and provided lectures on the subject of Internal Controls in:

ABI Formazione (Italiana Banking Association);

Ateneo Banca Impresa;

ASSOSIM (Intermediaries Italian Association).


He edited the part of the "strategic guidelines" of the book "Internal Governance" for Banks (curator Paola Schwizer, publisher EGEA).


In 2014 he founded the AvantGarde Group (now “Orchestra Group”), an Economic Interest Grouping aimed at developing an innovative, diversified and scalable Fintech Platform.

Among the co-founders, in addition to an important Italian company specializing in Microsoft architectures as well as professionals in the field, he also noted the presence of Prof. Parente, Head of the Bank's Supervision Department of Milan until 2011.


In 2015, he was invited to be part of the co-founders of the SDA Bocconi - DEVO Lab initiative (an initiative that aims to spread knowledge and develop sensitivity on the issue of digital transformation of companies, with particular emphasis on the impact in organizational and economic terms).

He is one of the main supporters of Politecnico of Milan on the Internet of Things technology and Supply Chain Finance, as well as a member of the Italian Blockchain Association.


In 2017 he is co-founder of Assofintech of which he is a member of the Executive Committee.


In 2018 he is on-boarded – as honorary member - by the San Marino Innovation Scientific Committee concerning the blockchain developing cross-border programme.
